pricing and contract
“After being in the industry for over 25 years now, I constantly heard stories of remodeling projects that turned into remodeling nightmares. So when I embarked on creating my new company, I knew I want to create [something] that set the new standard within the industry. I knew I wanted to create a company that would be truly special… Upon doing more research, I found that most problems always centered on customer service one way or another.” – John Johnson, Founder and President of Creative Spaces Remodeling
We’re in the third week of our five part remodeling system series, and this week our focus is still on customer service. At any point in our intricate process, we want to know that you’re satisfied with the project, that we understand your needs, and that our team is doing the very best job that they can do. This week, we’ll discuss what you should expect when we establish pricing and a contract.
Tweak the Design
During this step, we make any essential adjustments to the design. This gives you the chance to look over our design, and decide if it’s perfect or not. If it’s exactly what you want, then great! If not, then we’ll sit down with you and add or subtract aspects to make your dream a reality.
Revise & Repeat
We’ll revise and adjust the designs as many times as necessary, creating a project that sticks to your ideas and your budget. Once we’ve reached an agreement that we understand each other perfectly, we’ll begin preparing the contract. You’ll have ample time to look over the contract and approve it.
Permit Process
Once you’ve approved the contract and given us your John Hancock, we can begin the task of creating a full set of permit drawings that will be submitted to the county. Once the county reviews and approves the drawings, we’ll take their notes along with any of your suggestions and start creating the final set of “working” construction drawings. These final drawings are what we use to build your project!
Throughout the entire process, feel free to contact us at your leisure. We want to hear from you. We want your opinion. Unlike other contractors, we aren’t going to leave you in the dark. Rather, you’ll be an intricate part of the entire process.
